BTW Graham, I tried pressing your “Report a Typo” button, just to see how it works and the answer is, it doesn’t, at least not in the app. Perhaps it only works if there’s a typo? I didn’t find any.
I tested on my end, and you're right -- not working! I use the "mailto:" code in the link, which seemed to work before. I wonder if Substack is blocking that for some reason...
Yes, it seems from your Substack that your a photographer at heart, too. I've always loved it, though my shots are often hit or miss. I've debated upgrading my equipment to see if that helps... lol
I once thought I had a photographer lurking in my heart, then I started working with some people on a car magazine and their photos were SO much better than mine that I've decided my photos are crap! They're good enough to illustrate my posts, that's all.
Ha - that sounds like me and music. I took piano lessons for years. One day, the brother of a friend brought home a keyboard for the weekend -- he'd never played before, but he was really musically talented. I tried to teach him the chords to "Jump" by Van Halen. He scoffed, then showed me the REAL chords.
Then he asked if I wanted to see how to do the solo...
I quit piano lessons soon after.
I'm sure your experience wasn't nearly as bad as that, but it reminded me of that little revelation in my life!

I'll look into it.
Thanks for the heads up!

Totally agree. Sketching helps me write better poems. 😀
Ah, there you go -- sketching! Another great example.
Can't say I'm much of a visual artist myself, but I admire those who can draw. Seems to be a great way to think differently...
Thanks for chiming in, Punit!
