Quick edit - just hit the button to upgrade, and the fee is showing up there as $80 CAD for the year, or $8/month... could be an exchange rate thing, or maybe Substack's take?
Oof - thanks for flagging that! Yeah, some rigmarole going on setting this up. Several times the system changed the amount and/or the currency. It really likes USD and $8, apparently! Should be working properly now (he says while knocking on wood...)

I just double- (quintuple-) checked, and it seems to be showing $5/$50 CAD. However, Apple takes a fee (for doing nothing) when using the app, which pushes the price up. Someone else flagged that for me, and I edited the post to explain...!
