or, Tomorrow Never Knows - During a recent Oasis revisit, I came across a Noel Gallagher interview that struck a chord and is good writing advice for us all.
The reverse is true also: if I'm struggling with a piece of writing - not struggling in a good way: like trying to find the best way to say something, but slogging through a plot, guess what... the result will be sucky. Better to put it down and spend some time with a story that makes you smile.
Yeah - I'm not a fan of slogs! Unfortunately, in my day-job work, I'm on stricter (and tighter) deadlines, and have to slog through. That sometimes works as a creativity booster (though I don't recommend it... lol), but more often it's just banging things into place.
So far, no one's noticed, so I guess I get through it!
